Residential Dumpster Rental in Aurora, CO

Our residential dumpster rental is the container most Aurora homeowners call about: a 10, 15 or 20-yard roll-off on the driveway for a garage or basement cleanout, a kitchen or bathroom remodel, a move, or clearing out a family member’s house. One flat price covers delivery, the rental period, pickup and a disposal weight allowance, and we quote it before the truck leaves our yard on Moline Street.
Household cleanup dumpsters are built for the way a home job actually goes: a few days of filling, a weekend push, then a call to have it hauled. You pick the dates and we set the container where you want it, with boards under the rails if your driveway needs protecting.
Cleanouts come first: basements and garages full of decades of boxes, rentals between tenants, and whole-house cleanouts after a move or a death in the family. A 15 or 20-yard container handles most of them in one go.
Remodels are next. North-west Aurora has some of the oldest housing in the city, much of it built before 1970, so kitchens, bathrooms, old flooring and plaster come out of a lot of houses there and across the line in Park Hill and East Colfax. In the newer subdivisions along E-470, where most homes went up after 2000, it is basement finishes, landscaping and move-ins. A 10 to 20-yard box covers all of it. If you are taking a roof off, tell us: shingles are heavy and we size for weight, not just volume.
The City of Aurora does not collect household trash. Every home is required to have weekly service from a private hauler, arranged by the homeowner, the HOA or the building manager, and the City publishes no bulk-item pickup of its own. A regular trash cart is not built for a remodel or a cleanout, so for anything more than a few bags, a roll-off on the driveway is the practical route.
On private property. The City’s own trash and recycling page says plainly that storage pods and dumpsters are not allowed on the public street, and City Code § 94-106 makes it unlawful to put anything in a street, alley or sidewalk that obstructs it. The same page says placement on private property, including driveways, “may be considered” through the City’s Temporary Use Permit program, which has an $85.25 application fee and is handled by the Permit Center (303.739.7420). The City publishes no time limit and no separate dumpster permit for a driveway, so for a long rental we check with the Permit Center rather than guess. If you are in an HOA, check its rules too. Denver, Thornton, Broomfield and the other towns are different, and our service-area pages give each one.
Furniture, boxes, clothing, toys, carpet, flooring, drywall, lumber, cabinets, fixtures and general junk are all fine. Some things stay out: TVs, computers and other electronics, which Colorado has banned from landfills since 2013; whole tires; liquids; paint, which goes back free through PaintCare at many paint stores; household chemicals, for which Aurora residents can book Waste Management’s At Your Door pickup for $10 on 800.449.7587; and anything containing asbestos. Our guide to what stays out lists the rest and where each item goes.

- How much does a residential dumpster rental cost in Aurora? We quote one flat price on the phone based on the size and what is going in it. It covers delivery, the rental period, pickup and the disposal weight allowance. Call (720) 343-7409 and you will have a number before you hang up.
- Will the dumpster damage my driveway? We put boards under the container rails on request, and our drivers set the box down rather than dragging it. Tell us if your driveway is new or decorative concrete and we will plan around it.
- Can the dumpster go on the street in front of my house? Not in Aurora. The City says dumpsters and storage pods are not allowed on the public street, so the container goes on your driveway or elsewhere on your property. If there is no room at all, our junk removal crew loads straight onto the truck instead.
- Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup? No. Mark the spot or send us a photo, and we will place it exactly where you asked. Make sure nothing is parked in front of the container on pickup day.
