Front Range Dumpsters 10, 20, 30 and 40-yard roll-off containers with a roll-off truck
Construction Dumpster Rental in Aurora, CO

Construction dumpster rental is the core of what we do. Front Range Dumpsters keeps 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40-yard roll-offs moving between job sites across Aurora and the north and east metro: new builds and finishes in the growth areas along E-470, renovations in the mid-century houses of north-west Aurora and east Denver, roofing across the suburbs, and demolition from garages to whole houses.

Contractors call us because we answer the phone at any hour, we turn swaps around fast from our yard on Moline Street, and the price we quote is the price on the invoice: one flat rate per haul with the weight allowance stated up front.

Sizing construction debris

Weight decides the size on a construction job. A gut renovation, a new build or a fit-out produces bulky, light debris, so a 30-yard is the usual container and a 40-yard the choice on a big site. Roofing shingles, plaster, concrete, block and brick are heavy: they go in 10, 15 or 20-yard containers, loaded level with the rail, so the truck stays within its legal weight. Mixed loads are fine; tell us the rough split and we will pick the box. Our size guide has the dimensions and allowances.

Demolition permits and asbestos in Colorado

In Aurora, a demolition permit comes from the City’s Permit Center at 15151 E. Alameda Parkway (303.739.7420), applied for online at aurora4biz.org; the City’s 2026 flat-rate fee for “Demolition (full or partial building)” is $402. Denver, Thornton, Broomfield and the other cities run their own building departments, and our service-area pages list them.

The state rule catches people out. Colorado’s health department, CDPHE, requires a demolition approval notice for every demolition, houses included, filed at least ten working days before work starts, and the building has to be inspected for asbestos by a Colorado-certified inspector first. The notice fee is $50 plus $5 per 1,000 square feet of footprint, and the notice has to be posted on site. For a renovation, any work that disturbs more than the trigger levels of suspect material, on a house 32 square feet of surface, 50 linear feet of pipe or a 55-gallon drum’s worth, has to be inspected first as well. Concrete or wood with asbestos floor tile or mastic stuck to it cannot be recycled, and asbestos never rides in a mixed load.

Keeping a job site tidy

Aurora writes it into its code: City Code § 114-34 makes it unlawful for the owner, agent or contractor in charge of a construction or demolition site to let litter build up before, during or after the job, and the City can ask for proof of how the debris was collected or disposed of. A roll-off with a regular swap and a disposal ticket from a permitted facility answers both. We set the swap schedule so the container never becomes the problem.

Construction Dumpster Rental FAQ
  • Can you deliver to a site with no one there?
Yes. Give us the drop location, any gate code, and which way you want the door facing. We send a photo when it is placed.
  • How fast can you swap a full container?
Usually the same day if you call before noon, otherwise the next morning. For long jobs we schedule swaps in advance.
  • Do I need anything from the state before a demolition?
Yes. CDPHE requires a demolition approval notice for every demolition in Colorado, houses included, filed ten working days ahead, after an asbestos inspection by a Colorado-certified inspector. Get that moving before you book the container; we schedule the drop around it.
  • Do you take roofing shingles?
Yes, in a 15 or 20-yard container sized for weight. Tell us the square footage and the number of layers.
